Come down to the New Smyrna Beach Chowder Challenge along Flagler Avenue on Sunday, January 29th, 2023, from 1pm – 5 pm. Passports are $20, and participants will be able to stroll the street eating tasty samples of different types of chowders at host locations along Flagler Avenue. During the event, tasters can vote for their favorite Chowder creations and the winning creators will receive the “Best at the Beach” awards.

Like other food challenges on Flagler Avenue in New Smyrna Beach, the Flagler Avenue Chowder Challenge guests use their tasting passports to visit the host sites and taste one sample of Chowder prepared in multiple different ways. Tasting passports can be ordered in advance at https://flagleravechowderchallenge2023.eventbrite.com Participants who order in advance can pick-up their spoons and tasting passports at the Welcome Porch located at “Welcome Porch” 401 Flagler Avenue, at the corner of S. Cooper Street. Passports for the event will be on sale the day of the event, CASH ONLY, starting at 11:30 am we strongly suggest pre-ordering your passport in advance as WE WILL SELL OUT!
Parking is plentiful throughout the Flagler Avenue, arts-entertainment-shopping district.
