The Great Potato Feast – Potato Festival
March 19, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm$15.00
Although the potato originated in the mountains of Peru, it was in Ireland where the spud became famous and is an indistinguishable aspect of Irish cuisine and culture. The Irish traditionally plant their potato crop on St. Patrick’s Day, because they believe that St. Patrick bestowed optimal planting conditions during this time. What better way to end the NSB Shamrock N’ Roll celebration than with a Potato Festival?
On Saturday, March 19, 2016 head down to Flagler Avenue to take part in The Great Potato Feast from Noon to 5pm. Passports for this progressive tasting of “all things potato” are $15 and include more than 20 samples of our local chef’s creative potato dishes.
